OFFICIAL: Tedesco named Belgium coach


The Belgium Football Federation (KBVB) has appointed 37-year-old Domenico Tedesco to replace Roberto Martinez, more than a month after he left the national team.


It is officially confirmed that Tedesco's term will end in July 2024, and his first task is to ensure Belgium's qualification for the 2024 European Cup.

Domenico Tedesco, born in Italy in 1985, was the coach of FC Erzgebirge Aue, Schalke 04, Spartak Moscow and RB Leipzig. So far, he has coached 251 games, with 132 wins, 46 draws, and 73 losses. In the 20/21 season, he brought RB Leipzig the first championship in team history-a German Cup championship.
