The clause, which will come into effect from next year, is said to be similar to that of Christopher Nkunku, who joined Chelsea this summer.
"We are very happy to make this important announcement in time for Saturday's German Cup final," declared sporting director Max Eberl. "Dani is developing well at RB Leipzig and together we can take the next step."

Over the past three years, Olmo has played a total of 122 times and contributed 21 goals and 29 assists to RB Leipzig. He is also regarded as one of the main members of Leipzig RB's 21/22 German Cup championship.
On the day of the contract renewal, Olmo vowed to help Leipzig RB defend the German Cup: "I want to use my ability to help the team so that we can continue to share the joy of success-it is best to win the cup on Saturday!"
"As a young talent who entered one of the top leagues in Europe, joining RB Leipzig three years ago was a big step forward for me. With everyone's help, I settled in Leipzig easily and started working quickly."
"RB Leipzig is an amazing club. It's located in an amazing city, has great fans and I'm delighted to renew my contract. The club and I have big ambitions for the future and want to take the next step together. We We have an unbelievable team that perfectly fit each other's styles of football."
