Liverpool ready to extend Diogo Jota's contract
2022-08-02 22:30LIVERPOOL -- Liverpool are ready to renew their deal with Diogo Jota. The Reds feel Jota's performance is in line with expectations.

"Liverpool are in talks over a new contract for Diogo Jota," the report said, quoted from dailymail.co.uk , Tuesday (2/8).
The Portuguese man is recovering from a hamstring injury. It shows positive developments. He is expected to return to training in the next two weeks.
Jota was absent when the Reds played in the 2022 Community Shield. Juergen Klopp's squad met Manchester City. The Anfield boys won the trophy after overthrowing City, 3-1 at the King Power Stadium, Leicester, last weekend.
The victory completed Klopp's title trophy at Liverpool. Last season, he almost achieved everything. After fighting it out, the Reds finally won the Carabao Cup and FA Cup.
The port city club finished second in the final standings of the English Premier League for the 2021/22 season. Then they are Champions League finalists.
