The building where the Hattasburg headquarters is located in the severely affected area collapsed due to the earthquake. Many staff and players in the club were rescued, and the 12-story building where Savut lived nearby also collapsed severely. Died in the earthquake at the age of 48.
Savut has played for many Turkish clubs such as Fenerbahçe, Goztepe and Sylt Sports in his playing career, and he was promoted to the sports director of Hattasburg in July last year.
